This project basicly aims to develop women’s abilities how to be an effective leader and to provide their active involvement in the society. This project also aims to answer the questions such as “Who is an effective woman leader and what kind of abilities that she should have?”. Also, this project indends to eliminate the gender discrimination in society and to develop the choices of giving equal opportunities with male gender.

Bu proje esas olarak kadınların topluma aktif katılımlarını sağlamak ve etkili bir lider olabilmelerine yönelik becerilerini geliştirmeyi amaçlar. Bu proje etkili bir kadın lider nedir ve ne tür yeteneklere sahip olmalıdır? Sorularının yanıtlarını tanımlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca buı proje ile toplumda kadın-erkek arasında var olan ayrımcılıkları ortadan kaldırmayı ve eşit şans verme seçeneklerini geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Within this project, a 20 weeks lasting leadership training program was prepared for the women living in Hendek. Registrations were done by Hendek Public Training Center on the 4th-15th of October and 45 women applied for the project. With the support of the project coordinator Associated Prof. Dr. Osman TİTREK and co-coordinator Asst. . Dr.Mustafa BAYRAKÇI, the sessions have been taken place at classes for graduate students at Hendek Education Faculty, E Block.

Proje kapsamında 20 haftadan oluşan bir liderlik eğitim programı Hendek’te yaşayan kadınlara yönelik hazırlanmıştır. Kayıtlar, 4-15 Ekim 2010 tarihleri arasında Hendek Halk Eğitim Merkezi tarafından gerçekleştirilmiş ve projeye 45 kadın kaydolmuştur. Proje koordinatörü Doç.Dr. Osman TİTREK ve eş koordinatör Yrd. Doç.Dr. Mustafa Bayrakçı' nın destekleriyle eğitimler Hendek Eğitim Fakültesi E-Blok Yüksek Lisans sınıfında yürütülmektedir.

20-week lasting leadership lectures are going to be given as three parts and five academicians that are expert on this field are going to carry out these sessions. After each session, there is going to be an examination. According to the results of these examinations, women who are going to join the Germany and Rumenia trips are going to be chosen. For the first trip (Germany) 8 succeeding candidates have been chosen. For other visits, 8 candidates are going to be eliminated according to the exam results. Besides, after April they are going to take a one month lasting intensive language course at UFUK LANGUAGE CENTER. Also, participants are going to arrange several organizations as a group (trips,etc.).

20 hafta liderlik eğitimleri, 3 bölüm halinde verilecektir. Eğitimleri, alan uzmanı 5 akademisyen verecektir. Her bölüm sonunda sınav yapılacaktır. Sınavlarda başarıya göre Almanya ve iki Romanya gezilerine katılacaklar seçilecektir. İlk geziye (Almanya) başarılı 8 aday seçilmiştir. Diğer gezilere de 8 aday sınavlarla seçilecektir. Ayrıca Nisan ayı sonrası UFUK DİL MERKEZİ nde 1 aylık yoğun dil kursu eğitimi alacaklardır.Ayrıca katılımcılar grup olarak çeşitli organizasyonlar yapacaklardır (gezi vb.).
